July 28 (SeeNews) - The Ljubljana Stock Exchange's (LJSE) blue-chip SBITOP index rose by 0.78% to 1,152.30 points on Wednesday, marking its sixth consecutive winning session, bourse data showed.
The SBITOP TR index, which also tracks dividend distribution, rose 0.77% to 1,317.65 points, LJSE data showed.
Insurance company Sava Re [LJE:POSR] lead the blue-chip gainers, closing 2.75% higher at 26.20 euro.
Telekom Slovenije [LJE:TLSG] was the sole decliner among the blue-chip companies, as its shares closed the session at 64 euro, down 0.62%.
LJSE's total turnover rose to 1 million euro ($1.2 million) on Wednesday from 822,359 euro generated on Tuesday.
Lender NLB [LJE:NLBR] generated the highest turnover on Wednesday - of 325,777 euro. Its shares ended 0.64% higher at 63 euro.
