September 26 (SeeNews) - Lender Komercijalna banka [BEL:KMBN] generated the highest turnover on the Belgrade Stock Exchange on Wednesday, as share indices ended down, bourse data showed.
A total of 840 of Komercijalna's shares changed hands, generating a turnover of 1.6 million dinars. The lender closed up 0.26% at 1,910 dinars.
Soybean processing company Sojaprotein [BEL:SJPT] led the blue-chip gainers' list on the Belgrade Stock Exchange on Wednesday, after winning 5.59% and closing at 151 dinars.
The BELEX15 index, which tracks the most liquid shares on the Belgrade bourse, went down 0.28% to 725.74 points on Wednesday. The index fell 0.38% on Tuesday.
The broader BELEXline, a free‐float market capitalisation weighted index, declined 0.09% to 1,530.41 points on Wednesday, after decreasing 0.34% on Tuesday.
Belgrade airport operator Aerodrom Nikola Tesla [BEL:AERO] paced the blue-chip decliners on Wednesday, after losing 1.55% and closing at 1,650 dinars.
The total stock trading turnover on the bourse rose to 7.7 million dinars ($76,379/65,051 euro) on Wednesday from 6.4 million dinars on Tuesday, as 86 share transactions were carried out. Trading on the multilateral trading facility (MTP) of the bourse came in at 819,380 dinars.
