October 5 (SeeNews) - Insurance company KD Group [LJE:KDHR] was the top blue-chip gainer in for a second consecutive trading session on the Ljubljana Stock Exchange (LJSE), bourse data indicated.
KD Group shares closed 11.1% higher at 8.1 euro ($9.5) in a trading turnover of 6,920 euro on Thursday. On Wednesday, KD Group shares also rose the most among Slovenian blue chips, closing 4.16% higher.
The SBITOP index, which tracks the most liquid and capitalised stocks on the LJSE, edged up 0.02% to 801.09 points on Thursday. On Wednesday, the index closed 0.08% higher.
Trading turnover on the LJSE rose to 1.0 million euro on Thursday from 813,090 euro on Wednesday.
Insurer Zavarovalnica Triglav [LJE:ZVTG] generated the day’s largest turnover on Thursday, of 421,850 euro.
Chemicals producer Cinkarna Celje [LJE:CICG] was the top blue-chip decliner on Thursday, as it closed 0.90% lower at 181.45 euro.
