January 4 (SeeNews) - Insurance company KD Group [LJE:KDHR] was the top blue-chip gainer in Thursday’s trading session on the Ljubljana Stock Exchange (LJSE), bourse data indicated.
KD Group shares closed 3.7% higher at 7.0 euro ($8.45) in a trading volume of 360 units.
The SBITOP index, which tracks the most liquid and capitalised stocks on the LJSE, added 0.59% to 799.29 points on Thursday. During the previous trading session, the index closed 1.48% lower.
Total trading turnover on the LJSE rose to 1.9 million euro on Thursday from 989,650 euro on Wednesday.
Drug maker Krka [LJE:KRKG] generated the day's largest turnover, of 887,040 euro.
Home appliances manufacturer Gorenje [LJE:GRVG] fell the most among the blue chips on Thursday, as its shares closed 1.19% lower at 5.0 euro.
