May 16 (SeeNews) - The Croatian arm of Danish bedding and furniture retailer JYSK said on Tuesday it plans to open its first store on the northern Adriatic island of Krk on May 18.
The new store, the company's 55th in Croatia, will spread on more than 1,000 square metres and will have eight employees, JYSK Hrvatska said in a press release.
JYSK Hrvatska has reported that in its financial year 2021/2022 that ended on August 31, 2022 its earnings before interest and taxes (EBIT) reached 133 million kuna ($19 million/18 million euro), up by 5.0 million kuna compared to financial year 2020/2021. In the review period, its sales revenue rose 13.5% to 700.3 million kuna. In the last financial year, it opened five stores.
