March 11 (SeeNews) - Greek toy retailer Jumbo said on Monday that the group's sales in Bulgaria grew by 11% year-on-year in January-February, compared to flat sales recorded for the group overall.
In February alone, sales in Bulgaria increased by an annual 13% against a 3% decline posted for the group as a whole, Jumbo said in a press release.
In Romania, Jumbo's sales added 15% year-on-year in February and 13% in the first two months of 2024.
For the two months through February 2023, the Jumbo group booked a 40% annual jump in sales, with sales in Bulgaria surging 45% and sales in Romania climbing 36% on the year, according to an earlier statement.
Jumbo will distribute a dividend of 0.60 euro ($0.66) per share, starting March 26.
