PODGORICA (Montenegro), July 1 (SeeNews) – Oil products distributor Jugopetrol [MNG:JGPK] led the blue-chip gainers on the Montenegrin stock exchange in June, as stock indices ended mixed, bourse data indicated.
The blue-chip index of the Montenegro Stock Exchange, MNSE10, closed June at 809.59 points, down 0.35% month-on-month.
The benchmark MONEX index, which tracks the 20 most representative shares on the Montenegro Stock Exchange, rose by 4.63% month-on-month in June, reaching 11,037.96 points.
Jugopetrol rose the most among the blue chips in June, adding 2.89% month-on-month to 11.6056 euro, as 4,878 of its shares changed hands in 23 transactions. The company generated a share turnover of 56,612 euro.
Hotel operator Budvanska rivijera [MNG:BUDR] paced the blue-chip decliners in June, as its share price fell 13.47% on the month to 6.5592 euro. A total of 2,721 of the company's shares changed hands, generating a turnover of 17,847 euro.
Тhe bourse's total turnover declined in June to 1.1 million euro ($1.2 million) from 74.8 million euro a month earlier.
A total of 197 transactions were concluded on the bourse in Podgorica in June, versus 389 in May. Stock market capitalisation was 3.477 billion euro at the end of June, up from 3.176 billion euro a month earlier.
