1990 – Hotel management company HTP Budvanska Rivijera is established as a state-owned joint-stock company, based in Budva, southwestern Montenegro.
July 30, 2001 – The company sells its Maestral hotel in Montenegro to Slovenian tourist company Hit d.d. for EUR 4.9 mln.
June 2003 - The Agency of Montenegro for Economic Restructuring and Foreign Investments sells the company's hotels Mediteran and Montenegro. Mediteran is bought by local Maestral Tours D.O.O., based in Budva, for EUR 3.839 mln. The Montenegro hotel is sold for EUR 2.93 mln.
2005 - The Agency of Montenegro for Economic Restructuring and Foreign Investments sells the company's hotel Vile Oliva in Petrovac, southwestern Montenegro, to a consortium comprising Pletzer Anton Leasing und Verwaltungs GmbH (Austria), Montemlin Sajo D.O.O. (Montenegro) and AE Adriatic Express D.O.O. (Montenegro). The deal is worth EUR 13.3 mln.
2005 – HTP Budvanska Rivijera A.D. sells its hotel Montenegro A to Unis Tours d.d. (Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina) for EUR 2.0 mln.
2006 – The Montenegro Government signs a 30-year lease contract with Singapore's hotel and resort chain Aman Resorts for HTP Budvanska Rivijera A.D.'s hotels Milocer and Sveti Stefan.
2008 - The Agency of Montenegro for Economic Restructuring and Foreign Investments puts for sale a 58.73% stake in HTP Budvanska Rivijera A.D.
September 2009 - HTP Budvanska Rivijera A.D. changes its name to Hotelska Grupa Budvanska Rivijera A.D.
November 2010 - The company is awarded Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Point (HACCP) for its four hotels - Slovenska Plaza, Aleksandar, Palas and Castellastva.
