September 13 (SeeNews) - Japanese trader Mitsui & Co Ltd intends to build a $100 million (75 million euro) industrial facility in Turkey, local media reported.
The company is preparing for a large production project in Turkey with initial investment of more than $100 million, daily Sabah said Thursday citing Mitsui's representative in Turkey, Yuichi Aoki. According to Aoki, this will be one of the most important Japanese investments in Turkey.
Yuichi Aoki also refuted speculations that Mitsui will exit the Turkish market saying the country is important for the company and Mitsui is a shareholder in the Toyota factory, Acibadem Hospitals and Tempo call centres in Turkey, the daily said.
