November 1 (SeeNews) - Italian lingerie producer Pompea opened on Thursday a 4.0 million ($5.8 million) euro stockings factory in the northern Serbian town of Zrenjanin, the Serbian government said.
Pompea has already invested four million euro in the factory, the government said in a statement. The Italian comany's investment programme in Serbia totals 17 million euro, the government said in a statement without elaborating.
The factory has a built-up area of some 30,000 square metres and its daily capacity will be 350,000 pairs of stockings.
