LJUBLJANA (Slovenia), March 28 (SeeNews) – Italian banking group Intesa Sanpaolo said on Friday it posted a pre-tax profit of 3.0 million euro ($4.1 million) from operations in Slovenia in 2013, down 65.6% from a year earlier.
Operating income in Slovenia fell 9.7% to 79 million euro in 2013, while operating costs were down by 0.9% to 46 million euro, Intesa Sanpaolo said in a financial reported.
The group's deposit portfolio in Slovenia amounted to 1.7 billion euro at end-2013, while loans totalled 1.8 billion euro. Total banking assets stood at 2.4 billion euro at the end of 2013.
