September 27 (SeeNews) - International real estate brokerage franchise RE/MAX plans to enter Albania and Macedonia by the end of the year, expanding its pesence in souteastern Europe, a company official said on Thursday.
“RE/MAX Europe is in talks with several companies in the two countries. It [entering the markets] is expected by the end of the year,” RE/MAX Bulgaria regional director Ilian Nikolov told SeeNews.
Nikolov said RE/MAX targets to broker 30% of the real estate deals in the two neighbouring countries in four to five years.
RE/MAX Europe is currently operating in 35 countries. In souteastern Europe it operates in Bulgaria, Croatia, Romania, Serbia and Montenegro. The company, which is based in the U.S., runs a workforce of more than 120,000 agents.
