November 17 (SeeNews) - Hungarian banking group OTP said its Croatian unit posted a 31% year-on-year drop in after-tax profit to 2.55 billion forints ($14.1 million/9.5 million euro) through September.
In the third quarter alone, OTP Banka Hrvatska's after-tax profit fell to 632 million forints from 1.105 billion forints in the second quarter, the parent group said in a financial statement for the first nine months of 2009 on its website.
Across southeast Europe, the Hungarian banking group is also present in Croatia's neighbours Serbia and Montenegro as well as in Bulgaria and Romania.
