BELGRADE (Serbia), November 22 (SeeNews) – German discount chain Lidl opened on Thursday four new stores in Serbia, the company said.
The stores opened in four Serbian cities - Vrsac, Indjija, Kikinda and Jagodina, Lidl said in a statement.
Last month, Lidl opened its first 16 stores in Serbia, including five in Belgrade. The remaining stores are located in Bor, Zrenjanin, Kragujevac, Leskovac, Nis, Novi Sad, Smederevo, Sombor, Subotica, Uzice and Sabac.
Lidl, part of Germany's Schwarz-Gruppe, is a global discount supermarket chain, based in Neckarsulm, Germany. The company operates over 10,000 stores in Europe.
