LJUBLJANA (Slovenia), November 22 (SeeNews) – Slovenian reinsurer Sava Re [LJE:POSR] posted the biggest gains among the blue-chip companies on the Ljubljana Stock Exchange (LJSE) on Friday, contributing to a rise in the main share index, LJSE data showed.
Sava Re's shares closed at 17.7 euro, up 2.31%.
Earlier on the day, Sava Re said that the consolidated net profit of the Sava Insurance Group rose by 29% year-on-year to 37.7 million euro in the first nine months of 2019, accounting for 87.6% of the planned full-year profit.
The SBITOP index, which tracks the most liquid and capitalised stocks on the LJSE, closed at 901.96 points, up 0.94%.
Hand tools manufacturer Unior [LJSE:UKIG] fell the most among the blue chips. The company's shares closed 4.11% lower at 14.0 euro.
Pharmaceuticals producer Krka [LJE:KRKG] generated the largest portion of LJSE's trading turnover on Friday – of 2.11 million euro.
The LJSE's total trading turnover fell to 2.99 million euro ($3.3 million) from 3.05 million euro on Thursday.
