SKOPJE (N. Macedonia), September 14 (SeeNews) - Foreign tourist arrivals to North Macedonia totalled 45,778 in July, up from just 4,991 in the same month last year, the country's statistical office said on Tuesday.

The number of overnights spent by foreign tourists in North Macedonia rose to 104,858 in July 2021 from 15,333 in July 2020, Makstat said in a statement.

Out of the total number of foreign tourists who visited North Macedonia in July, 18.7% came from Serbia, 11.1% from Poland and 6.4% from Romania.

Domestic tourists numbered 90,513 in July, up from 70,600 in July 2020, as they spent 513,456 overnights, up from 420,847 a year earlier.
