August 9 (SeeNews) - Foreign tourist arrivals to Croatia increased 11.7% on the year to 2.672 million in June, the country's statistical office said on Friday.
The number of overnights spent by foreign tourists in Croatia rose 10.3% on the year in June, reaching 12.205 million, the statistical office said in a statement.
In June 2019, the number of Croatian tourists increased by 6.2% year-on-year to 248,468, while the overnights they spent rose 3.9% to 811,442.
Overall, the number of domestic and foreign tourists in the Adriatic state grew to 2.921 million in June, up 11.2% on the same month of 2018.
Tourists from Germany accounted for 28.4% of all overnights spent by international visitors in June, followed by Austria with 10.2%, Slovenia (8%) and Poland (6.8%).
