September 28 (SeeNews) - Bosnia's Serb Republic attracted 18,394 foreign tourists in August, up 108.1% compared with same month last year, the entity's statistical office said.
Foreign tourists spent 37,514 overnights in the Serb Republic in August, up 86.9% on the year, the statistical office said in a statement on Monday.
Most foreign tourists who visited the Serb Republic in August, 7,222, came from Serbia, followed by tourists from Croatia (1,488) and Slovenia (1,368).
The number of foreign tourist arrivals increased by 45.5% year-on-year in the first eight months of 2021, reaching 74,759.
The Serb Republic is one of two autonomous entities that form Bosnia and Herzegovina. The other one is the Federation.
