March 30 (SeeNews) - The number of foreign tourist arrivals to Bosnia's Serb Republic increased by 5% on the year in February, reaching 15,195, the entity's statistical office said.
Foreign tourists spent 58,369 overnights in the Serb Republic in February, up 12.3%, the statistical office said in a statement on Friday.
In February, the total number of tourists who visited the Serb Republic increased by 5.4% to 27,104. Total tourist overnights rose 12.7% on the year to 86,769.
Most foreign tourists who visited the Serb Republic in February - 6,268, came from neighbouring Serbia, followed by tourists from Croatia - 3,446, and Slovenia - 1,626.
The number of foreign tourists arrivals increased by 14.7% year-on-year in the first two months of 2020, reaching 30,236.
The Serb Republic is one of two autonomous entities that form Bosnia and Herzegovina. The other one is the Federation.
