May 30 (SeeNews) - The number of foreign tourists who visited Bosnia's Federation in April totalled 34,223, up 293% compared with the same month a year earlier, according to figures released by the entity's statistical office on Monday.
Foreign tourists spent 69,435 overnights in the Federation in April, an annual increase of 232%, figures published by the Federation's statistical office showed.
The total number of tourists who visited the Federation in April was 50,827, up 141% on the year.
Total tourist overnights increased 129% on the year to 98,532 in April 2022.
In April, most foreign visitors to the Federation came from Croatia (5,858), followed by tourists from Serbia (4,552) and Slovenia (3,103).
The Federation is one of two autonomous entities that make up Bosnia and Herzegovina. The other one is the Serb Republic.
