June 5 (SeeNews) - A total of 89,785 foreign tourists visited Bosnia and Herzegovina in April, compared with 50,119 in the same month of 2022, official figures showed on Monday.
Foreign tourists spent 180,047 overnights in Bosnia in April, up 77.5% on the year, Bosnia's Agency for Statistics said in a monthly report.
The total number of tourists who visited the country in April was 125,364, up 52.3% on the year.
Total tourist overnights increased 49.9% to 250,231.
In April most foreign visitors to Bosnia and Herzegovina came from Serbia (16,205), followed by tourists Croatia (14,396) and Slovenia (9,701).
Foreign tourist arrivals to Bosnia surged 81% on the year in 2022.
