March 24 (SeeNews) - Albania attracted 309,325 foreign tourists in February, compared with 200,997 in the same month last year, the country's statistical office said on Friday.
Foreign tourist arrivals reached 686,536 in the January-February period, compared with 395,234 in the same period a year earlier, the statistical office said in a statement.
In February alone, the number of domestic tourists rose to 385,921 from 257,954 in February 2022. Overall, the total number of domestic and foreign tourists came in at 695,246 in the month under review, compared with 458,951 in the same month in 2022.
Albania was visited by 7.5 million foreign tourists in 2022, up 32.6% compared with the previous year.
