October 25 (SeeNews) - Bulgaria's third largest lender by assets, Fibank [BUL:5F4], led the blue-chip gainers on the Bulgarian Stock Exchange (BSE) on Tuesday.
Fibank shares closed 3.02% higher at 2.730 levs with 10,749 shares changing hands during the trading session.
The blue-chip SOFIX index rose by 1.05% to 517.58, after adding 0.89% on Monday.
The broader BGBX40, which tracks the 40 most traded shares on the BSE, closed 0.75% higher at 98.32, after rising 0.96% on Monday.
The BG-REIT index, which tracks the performance of the real estate investment trusts, decreased by 0.19% to 103.48, after edging up 0.26% on Monday.
The BG TotalReturn30 index, in which companies with a free float of at least 10% have equal weight, gained 0.48% to 409.60. In the previous trading session, the index closed 0.47% higher.
Total stock turnover edged down to 473,600 levs ($277,700/255,100 euro), from Monday's 499,000 levs.
Bulgarian Real Estate Fund REIT [BUL:5BU] led the blue-chip decliners, falling 1.62% to 2.007 levs, as 1,715 of its shares changed hands.
Chimimport [BUL:6C4] was the most traded blue chip on Tuesday, as 52,332 shares changed hands at an average price of 1.387 levs.
