August 13 (SeeNews) - Foreign direct investment (FDI) into Romania rose by 30% year-on-year in the first six months of 2019, to 2.322 billion euro ($2.596 billion), the central bank said on Tuesday.
Equity investment, including estimated net reinvestment of earnings, amounted to 1.762 billion euro and inter-company lending totalled a net 560 million euro at the end of June, the central bank said in a statement, citing provisional data.
FDI into Romania increased by 2.8% year-on-year in 2018 to 4.936 billion euro.
