June 13 (SeeNews) - Foreign direct investment (FDI) into Romania fell by 17% year-on-year in the first four months of 2019, to 1.323 billion euro ($1.493 billion), the central bank said on Thursday.
Equity investment, including estimated net reinvestment of earnings, amounted to 938 million euro and inter-company lending totalled a net 385 million euro at the end of April, the central bank said in a statement, citing provisional data.
FDI into Romania increased by 2.8% year-on-year in 2018 to 4.936 billion euro.
