December 11 (SeeNews) - Financial and insurance group Eurohold Bulgaria [BUL:4EH] was the top blue-chip gainer on the Bulgarian Stock Exchange on Monday, bourse data shows.
Eurohold Bulgaria closed 4.07% higher at 1.355 levs ($0.82/0.69 euro) as 500 shares changed hands.
The total trading turnover on the regulated market of the Sofia bourse rose to 6.8 million levs on Monday from 1.8 million levs on Friday.
Industrial Holding Bulgaria [BUL:4ID] was the most traded blue chip on Monday, as 300,125 of the company’s shares changed hands at an weighted average price of 0.955 levs.
Resort operator Albena [BUL:6AB] fell the most among blue chips, closing 2.85% lower in a trading volume of 1,051 shares.
The BSE's blue-chip SOFIX index edged up 0.03% to 665.47 points on Monday after decreasing by 0.01% on Friday.
The broader BGBX40 index, which tracks the 40 most traded shares on the BSE, lost 0.01% to 130.23 points, after rising by 0.12% on Friday.
The BG-REIT index, which tracks the performance of real estate investment trusts, added 0.31% to 114.52 points on Monday. On Friday, the index closed 0.11% lower.
The BG TotalReturn30 index, in which companies with a free float of at least 10% have equal weight, rose 0.16% to 548.74 points, following a 0.26% increase on Friday.
