June 2 (SeeNews) - Civil engineering group Enegoprojekt [BEL:ENHL] generated nearly half of the total turnover on the Belgrade Stock Exchange on Friday and was the most traded company, as share indices declined, bourse data showed.
A total of 5,814 shares in Energoprojekt changed hands in 54 transactions, generating a turnover of 8.2 million dinars. The company won 0.07% to 1,402 dinars.
Belgrade airport operator Aerodrom Nikola Tesla [BEL:AERO] led the blue-chip gainers on the Belgrade stock market on Friday, as it won 2.0% to 1,276 dinars. The company generated a turnover of 958,758 dinars, as 752 of its shares changed hands.
The blue-chip BELEX15 index, which tracks the most liquid shares on the Belgrade bourse, edged down 0.01% to 719.88 points on Friday. On Thursday, the index lost 0.82% to 719.93.
The broader BELEXline, a free‐float market capitalisation weighted index, declined 0.07% on Friday and closed at 1,563.46. The index edged down 0.05% to 1,564.54 on Thursday.
Household appliances maker Alfa plam [BEL:ALFA] paced the blue-chip decliners on Friday, as it lost 1.41% and closed at 35,001 dinars. The company generated a turnover of 105,003 dinars, as only three of its shares changed hands.
The total stock trading turnover on the bourse rose to 17.4 million dinars ($158,636/142,277 euro) on Friday from 7.0 million dinars on Thursday, as 317 share transactions were carried out. Trading on the multilateral trading facility (MTP) of the bourse came in at 2.5 million dinars.
In the period between May 29 and June 2, BELEX15 and BELEXline won 0.29% and 0.46%, respectively.
Construction company Jedinstvo [BEL:JESV] led the blue-chip gainers' list this week, as it won 6.08% and closed at 5,250 on Friday. A total of 90 shares in the company changed hands, generating a turnover of 451,240 dinars.
The total value of trading in shares on the Belgrade stock market in the period between May 29 and June 2 was 81.9 million dinars, versus 143 million dinars in the previous week.
Trading in Treasury bonds contributed 127.6 million dinars to the session's total trading turnover of 209.5 million dinars on the bourse. The trading in Treasury bonds came in at 680.7 million dinars in the previous week.
