PODGORICA (Montenegro), June 6 (SeeNews) - Maltese state-owned company Enemalta plans to complete the test production phase of its 46 MW Mozura wind farm in Montenegro in July, local media reported.

The tests were launched on April 25 and will be carried out for 90 days, after which the wind farm will receive a permit for commercial operation, Montenegrin daily Dnevne Novine quoted sources from Montenegro's economy ministry as saying.

After the issuing of the building permit, Mozura will be connected to the grid and will start receiving incentives for renewable energy production, Dnevne Novine said.

The purchase price of the electricity generated by the wind farm will be fixed during the first 12 years of work and will be no higher than 95.99 euro ($107.9) per MWh.

Shanghai Electric Power Engineering, Enemalta's contractor for the construction of the wind farm, installed the first wind turbine out of a total of 23 that make up the 46 MW Mozura wind farm in April 2018.
