Telekom Romania said on Thursday it plans to invest more than 160 million euro ($170 million) this year in developing its fibre optics and 3G/4G networks and improving its services.
The company will direct most of the investments towards the further roll-out of its network, Nikolai Beckers, CEO of the Telekom Romania operations, was quoted as saying in a company statement.

CROATIA'S INA SAYS GAS TARIFF CUT TO HIT REVENUES
Croatian oil and gas company INA [ZSE:INA-R-A] said on Thursday the government's decision to set a new regulated price at which it sells gas to state-owned power utility HEP would have a negative effect on its revenues.
Earlier in the day, the government adopted a decision to cut by 12% to 0.2289 kuna ($0.0317/0.0299 euro) per kWh the tariff at which wholesalers sell gas to suppliers of retail customers. The government also decided to cut the tariff at which gas produced domestically is sold to wholesalers by 7% to 0.1715 kuna per kWh.

BELGRADE COURT OVERTURNS RULING ON BULGARIA'S CORPBANK OWNER EXTRADITION
The Belgrade Court of Appeal said on Wednesday it has overturned a decision of the Higher Court in Belgrade, which ruled that there are grounds to extradite Tsvetan Vasilev, the majority owner of Bulgarian delicensed lender Corporate Commercial Bank [BUL:6C9].
The Belgrade Court of Appeal has returned the case to the first instance court for retrial, it said in a statement.

EBRD SET TO PROVIDE 120 MLN EURO IN FUNDING TO AGRI EUROPE UNITS IN SERBIA, UKRAINE
The European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) said it is set to provide a 120 million euro ($128.6 million) financing package to Agri Europe subsidiaries in Serbia and Ukraine.
The financing is being provided in order to strengthen Agri Europe's balance sheet and diversify its operations, the EBRD said in a statement.

SERBIA'S EMS SEES SEEPEX POWER EXCHANGE LAUNCH BY END-Q3
The launch of Serbia's planned SEEPEX day-ahead power exchange is expected by the end of the third quarter this year, the director of state-owned power grid operator Elektromreze Srbije (EMS), Nikola Petrovic, said.
Once Serbia’s new energy bill is adopted, the power exchange will be launched, Petrovic told SeeNews on the sidelines of a recent economic forum in the Kopaonik ski resort.
