January 27 (SeeNews) - Kosovo plans to use the proceeds of a 29 million euro loan ($31.1 million) from the European Bank of Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) to finance a road modernisation project, the bank said.
The project calls for the rehabilitation of 11 km roads and the upgrade of 11.6 km access roads in the southeast of the country.
The tendering for the project started in the second quarter of 2016 and will go on in 2017 and 2018, the EBRD said in a general procurement notice on Thursday.
The proposed project comprises rehabilitation of Kllokot - Gjilan road section, upgrade of access roads to Prizren, Ferizaj and Gjilan, and consultancy and supervisory services.
