March 10 (SeeNews) - The European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) said it is extending a 10 million euro ($12 million) mortgage credit line to Bosnia's Intesa Sanpaolo Banka to improve housing conditions in the country.
Intesa Sanpaolo will on-lend the proceeds to private borrowers, which will mostly use the money for improving energy efficiency and savings, EBRD said in a press release on Tuesday.
The new credit line addresses growing demand and is an extension of a 15 million euro mortgage line approved in July 2019.
Bosnia's Intesa Sanpaolo Banka is a unit of Italy's Intesa Sanpaolo Group.
