January 10 (SeeNews) - Canadian-based Dundee Precious Metals (DPM) said on Tuesday that its Bulgarian mine Ada Tepe produced 28,100 ounces of gold in the fourth quarter of 2022, achieving its highest quarterly output of the year.
Following the completion of the pushback in the third quarter, gold grades increased as planned and production in the fourth quarter returned to expected levels, Dundee said in a press release.
In 2022, Ada Tepe produced about 94,000 ounces of gold, reaching the higher end of the company’s annual guidance.
Dundee’s other Bulgarian mine, Chelopech, delivered about 45,300 ounces of gold and 7.4 million pounds of copper in the fourth quarter, the company said. In 2022, Chelopech produced around 179,100 ounces of gold and 30.8 million pounds of copper. The output was well-within the annual guidance for gold and slightly below the expectations for copper.
