January 14 (SeeNews) - The Bulgarian Stock Exchange blue-chip SOFIX index closed 0.34% higher at 580.1 points on Tuesday, backed by an 8.74% rise in the share price of diversified group Doverie United Holding [BUL:5DOV].
Other notable gainers among blue chips included Chimimport [BUL:6C4] and Sopharma [BUL:3JR], which added 2.1% and 1.45%, respectively.
The wider BGBX40 index, which tracks the 40 most traded shares on the Sofia bourse, increased 0.52% to 114.03 points, while the BGTR30 index, in which companies with a free float of at least 10% have equal weight, grew 0.36% to 526.26 points.
The BGREIT index, which tracks real estate investment trusts, erased 0.40% to 132.94 points, after setting a string of record high closing values.
Total daily regulated market turnover amounted to some 651,000 levs ($370,000/333,000 euro).
