March 26 (SeeNews) - Deposits of Bulgaria's non-government sector rose by an annual 9.1% to 78.8 billion levs ($45.6 billion/40.3 billion euro) at the end of February, the central bank, BNB, said on Tuesday.
The deposits at the end of February were equal to 68.1% of Bulgaria's estimated gross domestic product in 2019, BNB said in a statement.
Deposits of households increased by an annual 8.5% to 52 billion levs at the end of February.
Deposits of non-financial corporations totalled 23.4 billion levs, up by 8.1% year-on-year, while deposits of financial corporations added 29.6% to 3.3 billion levs.
