September 21 (SeeNews) - Croatian brewery Zagrebacka Pivovara said on Wednesday it has invested 18 million kuna ($2.4 million/ 2.4 mln euro) in a new logistics and distribution centre near Zagreb.
Overall 5,400 square metres of new warehouses have been built at the Zapresic centre, as well as a 9,000-square metre area for outdoor logistics, including a new truck terminal, the company said in a press release.
The new logistics facility follows a 64 million kuna investment in a new line for bottling and packing beer in cans that the company launched in June.
The company also said that it will continue investing in modernisation projects in the next two years, with an upgrade of the line for filling of reusable glass bottles to follow.
