August 4 (SeeNews) - Croatian luxury clothing producer Varteks [ZSE:VART] said that its consolidated net loss stood at 2.4 million euro ($2.6 million) in the first six months of this year, compared to a net loss of almost 3.0 million euro in the same period of 2022.
Operating income rose 5.1% on the year to 6.9 million euro in the first half of this year, while sales revenue increased 5.6% to 6.8 million euro, the company said in a consolidated unaudited report sent to the Zagreb Stock Exchange (ZSE) earlier this week.
Operating costs fell to 8.6 million euro from some 9.0 million euro in the review period.
Varteks shares last traded on the ZSE on Thursday, ending 10% lower at 0.45 euro.
