August 20 (SeeNews) - The share indices of the Zagreb Stock Exchange (ZSE) fell on Tuesday, as food producer Podravka [ZSE:PODR] led the blue-chip decliners, bourse data showed.
Podravka closed 2.19% lower at 402 kuna.
Telecommunication services provider Optima Telekom [ZSE:OPTE] paced the blue-chip gainers, as its shares jumped 8.43% to 5.40 kuna. Optima also generated the highest trading turnover among the blue-chip companies on Tuesday, of 2.1 million kuna.
ZSE's total trading turnover rose to 6.9 million kuna ($1 million/931,271 euro), from 5.7 million kuna on Monday.
The 25-share benchmark index CROBEX fell by 0.13% to 1,875.95 after dropping 0.24% in the previous trading session.
The narrower of the ZSE's two blue-chip indices, the CROBEX10, which tracks the leading companies in terms of free float, market capitalisation and liquidity, lost 0.43% to 1,091.00 after edging down 0.03% on Monday.
The fixed-income CROBIS index added 0.05% to 116.1221.
