June 19 (SeeNews) - Croatian fertiliser maker Petrokemija [ZSE:PTKM-R-A] said on Monday it has temporarily halted production at its ammonia plant due to a technical failure.
The plant, which has been offline since Friday, is expected to resume operations within 14 days, the company said in a Zagreb bourse filing.
The plant's temporary shutdown will not affect negatively end-consumers because the company has ensured sufficient supplies of mineral fertilizers to cover demand on the domestic and regional markets, it added.
The company's other mineral fertilizer units are operating according to plan.
