April 24 (SeeNews) - The share indices of the Zagreb Stock Exchange (ZSE) closed lower on Wednesday, with telecommunication services provider Optima Telekom [ZSE:OPTE] pacing the blue-chip decliners, bourse data showed.
Optima's shares closed 6.67% lower at 2.80 kuna.
Croatia's Arena Hospitality Group [ZSE:ARNT] led the blue-chip gainers, as its shares closed 1.75% higher at 348 kuna.
Croatian distributor of fast-moving consumer goods Atlantic Grupa [ZSE:ATGR] was the most traded blue chip company on the ZSE on Wednesday, generating a turnover of 2.6 million kuna.
Atlantic Grupa disposed of 6,148 own shares on Wednesday, which representing 0.18% of the subscribed share capital.
ZSE's total trading turnover decreased to 7.1 million kuna ($1.1 million/956,841 euro), from 14.5 million kuna on Tuesday.
The 25-share benchmark share index CROBEX decreased by 0.80% to 1,811.88 after increasing 0.43% on Tuesday.
The narrower of the ZSE's two blue-chip indices, the CROBEX10, which tracks the leading companies in terms of free float, market capitalisation and liquidity, fell 0.93% to 1,071.48 after growing 0.87% in the previous trading session.
The fixed-income CROBIS added 0.13% to 112.8482.
