October 12 (SeeNews) - Croatia's net electricity production grew 11.3% on the year in August, reaching 1,001 GWh, the country's statistical office said on Friday.
On a monthly comparison basis, electricity output rose 7.2% in August, the Croatian Bureau of Statistics said in a press release.
Croatia's electricity imports fell to 1,118 GWh in August from 1,142 GWh in the same month last year, while exports grew to 395 GWh from 316 GWh.
Month-on-month, electricity imports fell 4.9% in August, while exports declined 18%.
Electricity made available to the domestic market amounted to 1,710 GWh in August, up from 1,626 GWh in July and from 1,686 GWh in August 2017.
