July 12 (SeeNews) - Zagreb-based Mid Bau company has launched an 18 million euro ($20.2 million) investment in a 9,400 square metre expansion of Pula City Mall intended to host an additional 16 tenants, local media reported on Friday.
The investor has purchased 22,500 square metres of land across the street from the existing shopping mall from private owners and the city of Pula and has already obtained a building permit, news portal Glas Istre reported.
The project will feature 306 parking spots as well as a classic and a drive-in McDonald's restaurants.
Construction works started on June 16. The expansion project should be completed by the end of 2019.
