February 28 (SeeNews) - Croatian confectionery producer Kras [ZSE:KRAS-R-A] said on Friday its consolidated net profit decreased by 68.7% year on year in 2019, to 15.6 million kuna ($2.3 million/2.1 million euro).
The company’s total consolidated revenue edged up 0.9% to 1.03 billion kuna in 2019, with sales revenue rising by 0.7% to 1.02 billion kuna, Kras said in a filing to the Zagreb Stock Exchange (ZSE).
Out of the total sales revenue, 557.8 million kuna was contributed by sales on the domestic market, up 1.9% on the year, while sales abroad contributed 463.9 million kuna, down 0.6%.
Total consolidated expenditures increased by 4.9% to 1.01 billion kuna last year.
The company had 2,657 employees at the end of December, up from 2,607 workers at end-2018.
Croatian meat producer Braca Pivac is Kras' majority owner with a 50.56% stake, according to February 28 ZSE data.
Kras' shares traded 2.11% lower at 695 kuna by 1032 CET on Friday on ZSE.
