September 28 (SeeNews) - Registrations of new commercial vehicles in Croatia increased by an annual 31% to 6,617 in the first eight months of 2021, the European Automobile Manufacturers' Association, ACEA, said.
Registrations of new light commercial vehicles of up to 3.5 tonnes rose by 28.5% on the year to 5,585 in the first eight months of 2021, ACEA said in a statement on Friday, citing provisional data.
Registrations of new medium and heavy commercial vehicles of over 3.5 tonnes jumped 53.5% year-on-year to 927 in the review period.
New commercial vehicle registrations in the EU, excluding Malta, increased by 24% year-on-year to 1,292,628 in the eight months through August. In EU12, which encompasses member states that have joined the EU since 2004, registrations were 40.3% higher at 170,255.
