June 2 (SeeNews) - Croatian shipping company Jadroplov [ZSE:JDPL] said it swung to a consolidated net profit of 159.3 million kuna ($23.4 million/21 million euro) in the first quarter of 2020, from a 19.1 million kuna loss a year earlier.
The company's total revenue soared to 219.7 million kuna in January-March, from 49.4 million kuna in the same period of 2019, while total costs decreased 11.7% to 60.4 million kuna, Jadroplov said in an unaudited interim financial statement filed with the Zagreb Stock Exchange (ZSE) on Friday.
The company's total assets increased to 703.1 million kuna at the end of March, from 669.9 million kuna at the end of 2019.
At the end of March, Jadroplov's fleet had 6 vessels of a total 292,939 DWT and an average age of 14 years.
Jadroplov's shares closed at 11.70 kuna on Monday on the ZSE, up 1.74%. They did not trade at opening on Tuesday.
