June 9 (SeeNews) - Croatian hotel operator HTP Korcula said on Friday it has opened its Port 9 resort on Korcula island, following a 75 million kuna ($11.3 million/10.1 million euro) facelift.
Port 9 is one of the largest investment projects in tourism by Croatian investment fund Prosperus FGS, which owns a 57.52% stake in HTP Korcula via its subsidiary Dalmacija Hoteli.
The resort encompasses 180 accommodation units located in five 4-star pavilions, HTP Korcula said in a statement.
According to the hotel operator, Korcula can expect a very successful tourist season this summer, including an increase in guests from the UK, Slovenia and France.
Port 9 also features two outdoor fresh water pools and two salt water pools, as well as three restaurants.
