April 23 (SeeNews) - Croatian hotel operator Hoteli Maestral [ZSE:HMST-R-A] posted a non-consolidated first-quarter net loss of 7.7 million kuna ($1.1 million/1.0 million euro), down from 8.2 million kuna booked a year earlier.
First-quarter operating loss stood at 7.05 million kuna, compared to 6.99 million kuna a year earlier, the company said in a bourse filing. Pre-tax loss dropped to 7.73 million kuna from 8.15 million kuna in the first quarter of 2014.
The company's total revenue reached 432,784 kuna in the January-March period compared to 136,124 kuna in the like period a year earlier.
Its total assets decreased to 194.539 million kuna from 198.084 million kuna in the first quarter of 2014.
According to latest available figures, Hoteli Maestral's share capital was unchanged at 103.144 million kuna.

In February a tender to sell a 68.26% stake in Hoteli Maestral failed to attract any binding bids, even though in the initial round seven non-binding letters of intent for the purchase of the 352,022 Hoteli Maestral shares on offer had been submitted. The asking price for the stake was set at 168.4 million kuna.
Hoteli Maestral owns five hotels in the Dubrovnik coastal area.
