ZAGREB (Croatia), May 7 (SeeNews) – Croatia-based financial group Fima has set up a consultancy unit in Brussels, aiming to help companies from southeastern Europe do business in the European Union, it said on Wednesday.
"The new company, FIMA ECS, aims to be a leading company for consultancy services in European issues and corporate strategies related to relationships of the European Union and the region and provides consulting services on strategic, legal and financial issues in the region and in the EU," Fima said in a statement.
FIMA ECS wants to help businessmen and institutions from Croatia and the region to more effectively operate in the EU environment, Fima Fas CEO Milan Horvat said in the statement.
Fima has brokerage companies in several ex-Yugoslav countries and in Ukraine. It also has stakes in commercial banks in Croatia and Bosnia and consultancy companies in Croatia.
