February 10 (SeeNews) - Croatian telecommunications equipment manufacturer Ericsson Nikola Tesla [ZSE:ERNT-R-A] said on Monday it has taken over from Sweden's Ericsson the full responsibility for the existing deal construction and maintenance of the infrastructure of Hrvatski Telekom [ZSE:HT-R-A], the biggest telecoms operator in the Adriatic state.
The contract was signed in 2014 and will expire in September 2020, Ericsson Nikola Tesla, an associated company of the Ericsson group, said in a statement.
At the time when the deal was signed, Hrvatski Telekom (HT) said that the contract for construction and maintenance of telecommunications infrastructure includes planning and construction of fixed and mobile networks, maintenance of telecommunications infrastructure, telecoms network monitoring, and field maintenance of active and passive access networks.
HT shares traded up 0.81% at 187.50 kuna ($28/25 euro) by 11:45 CET on the Zagreb bourse on Monday, while Ericsson Nikola Tesla's shares last traded on Friday, closing 1.04% higher at 1,455 kuna.
