June 2 (SeeNews) - Croatia's Djuro Djakovic group [ZSE:DDJH-R-A] said on Friday that its unit Djuro Djakovic Special Vehicles signed a 30 million euro ($32.3 million) contract to manufacture and deliver its Tagnpps 95 cubic metres freight rail carriages to GATX Rail Europe (GRE), a subsidiary of US full-service railcar lessor GATX.
The freight wagons should be delivered in the last quarter of 2023 and throughout 2024, Djuro Djakovic said in a filing with the Zagreb Stock Exchange.
The Tagnpps wagon is intended for transportation of bulk cargo like cereals, maize, soya and other cargo, which is sensitive to weather conditions.
Shares of Djuro Djakovic last traded on Wednesday on on the Zagreb Stock Exchange, ending 3.64% higher at 22.80 euro.
