June 14 (SeeNews) - The number of building permits issued in Croatia rose by 18.2% year-on-year to 1,005 in April, the statistical office said on Tuesday.
The number of permits issued for buildings increased 17.6% year-on-year to 840 in April, while the number of permits for civil engineering projects went up 21.3% to 165, the Croatian Bureau of Statistics said in a monthly report.
Out of all permits issued in April, 817 covered new construction projects, while 188 were issued for reconstruction works.
Based on the number of permits issued in April, 1,806 dwellings are planned to be built, up 35.6% on the year.
The number of building permits issued in Croatia rose by 12.2% year-on-year to 10,553 in 2021.
